What should my child experience in an elementary music class?

 When kids learn big concepts in groups, it’s more likely to stick. Kindermusik Musicians classes introduce music notation, new and complex instruments, and different genres of music. Children participate in ensembles while improving their problem-solving and pre-literacy skills. A variety of music and instruments are explored in a joyful, encouraging, team-building environment. Kindermusik Musicians classes teach children how to read musical notation, play instruments such as the recorder and glockenspiel, provide an outlet to explore new genres, and give children what they need to succeed in future instrument-specific music lessons. It is the foundational step for when they take the leap to private music lessons. If your child cannot get enough music in their life, this is the class for him/her. Child must be 5 by December 31st.

Your child's home materials will include: Fiddlesticks, Glockenspiel with mallets, Glockenspiel Book, and Game Pieces Packs and more in a super cool and secure Kindermusik Backpack. When you are enrolled in ANY level of Kindermusik, you will have streaming access to all songs in the Kindermusik library for your child’s age range through the free downloadable Kindermusik app. You will also have access to your child’s Kindermusik books for their age, right on the app. When your child bumps up an age level in classes, your music and books will automatically update to the new level of music and books. Once your enrollment ends in one level you will be gifted a “Best of Kindermusik” digital album with up to 15 songs + 3 you choose yourself from that level. Easy Peasy!
